Christian Service

Our Mission & Activities

The mission of the Christian Service Commission is to provide hands-on assistance through compassion, outreach and community.

Based on church income, 8% is put into church tithing. Grants are awarded to organizations or individuals in our local community, in our state, nation, and world.

Other areas we are involved in within our parish and local community include:

Advent Giving Tree
Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Lenten Collections for various needs
Baby item collections for area agencies
Collections for Emmaus House
Collect food donations and volunteer at area food pantries
Provide funeral luncheons
Cook and deliver food to those returning home from the hospital or rehab
Provide transportation to homebound
Volunteers work at The Clothesline,
Minister at area nursing homes
Minister to homebound parishioners
Scholarship Fund for Blessed Trinity youth
Tithing Grants for local, national, and worldwide organization

Mission Statement

We, the members of Blessed Trinity Parish share a common bond of love given to us through the mystery of the Blessed Trinity.

As the loving Father does, we welcome and support everyone who enters our faith community.

As His Son exemplifies, we humbly strive to be a learning, giving, caring, and teaching parish eager to serve, evangelize, and give generously of ourselves to others.

As the Holy Spirit inspires and leads us, we are a faithful, prayerful family that worships God through the many gifts and ministries with which the Lord has blessed us.
